Roy and National Air came out, gave me a same day quote and beat 3 other estimates by 3-5k. They removed a bad A/C an old furnace, replaced it with a 16 seer Trane AC, Furnace and blower. They also redid the ductwork in the entire house as well as the lines in my upstairs and downstairs. I told Roy at National Air a long time ago that I would do a review for him, and have neglected my promise. We had a tough renovation including a lying general contractor and a lazy electrician. Roy and the guys at National Air were the exact opposite. They did what they said they would do, were prompt professional, and fast. The fit right in with the renovation – removed the old equip, re-ducted the whole house – underneath and in attic – relined the units and installed things right. They were in and out faster than any of the subs. Roy also helped with financing and offered a great warranty – honoring his pledge on Angies List. I have had only one issue post installation (caused by the lazy electrician) and Roy’s guys came out in a hour and identified the problem. I can’t say enough good things about National Air, and frankly it is good to know that when I have problems in the future won’t have to call anyone else.

Maria was the first person I talked to. She is extremely personable and professional. We set up a time for Roy to do an estimate. Roy is very patient and matter of fact about what needed to do be done with the 35 year old air and 40 year old heating unit in my home. Duct work also needed upgrading. He gave me 5 units to choose from ranging from $6,768.00 to $10,962.00 which I believe is a fair range of choices. He was not hard sell and gave me a couple of weeks to make a decision and get me my price. The fellows who came to do the work are extremely considerate. They did the entire job in one day. I didn’t even notice the little extras of care they took from beginning to end until they were long gone. They hauled everything off and left my home actually looking better then when they came in. We were very happy to receive same day service from National. We called to schedule at 8am and they were able to send a technician out the same afternoon. They called to notify us when he was on his way, which is a wonderful courtesy. The technician was friendly, professional, and very patient with our excitable dogs. The problem turned out to be as simple as dust interfering with an electrical connection, so he just charged us for the basic service call fee (as opposed to adding in a repair charge). Our A/C stopped working a day before we went out of town, so we needed a repair done quickly. National Air sent a very nice tech (Nguyen) out later that day. He was on-time and very professional. He figured out the problem, showed it to us, and explained what needed to be done. He gave us an estimate and then repaired the unit very efficiently. I had several quotations from other reputable companies and when all considered, National Air was clearly the most competitive. I particularly liked the fact that the owner of the company Roy Calante was the person who came and made the actual estimates and proposal. He is extremely knowledgeable and was able to give me all the information I needed to decide which system made the most sense for my needs. Once the job was started Mr. Calante supervised the installation until its completion. During the same time he was very easily accessible to me and met with me on several occasions after-hours, in the evening to make sure that everything was being done to my satisfaction. After the job was completed he came again in the evening to be sure that not only was I satisfied with the installation but to be sure that I understood how to use all the features of my new wi-fi thermostats. His work crew was very courteous and professional and very careful in ensuring that walked through areas were well protected and did an excellent job of cleaning up afterwards. I also was very impressed with his office personnel. Both Maria and Priscilla were extremely helpful in making sure that I received all of my important documents including receipts, Trane registration papers and warranties. In summary most impressive is the fact that National Air and their entire team followed through from start to finish with everything that they said what they would do, all in the same time frame initially stated in the proposal. I was planning on just making an appointment for the tune-up special but my AC decided to stop cooling. I called the next morning and spoke with Maria who was lovely and so helpful. I explained the situation and she squeezed me in for the next day between 9-1. She told me I would be notified 30 minutes before the technician arrived. The next morning Maria called and said technician would be there shortly. I was never so happy to hear the doorbell ring thirty minutes later. I explained the situation to him. He checked the filter and thermostat, then went outside to inspect and clean the condenser. He came back and told me I needed a new dual capacitor. He explained what it was and the cost. He let me know that I would get a 10% discount. He replaced the part and finally ~ cold air! Nguyen was my technician; he was very professional, courteous and friendly. He completed the job in a very reasonable amount of time. I was very pleased with National Air, Maria and Nguyen. I will definitely recommend them and use them again.
